This traditional alpine village comes alive with festive spirit so you can enjoy a memorable Christmas in a beautiful winter wonderland. Stay at the heart of the village and at the foot of the slopes at Hotel Alpenland - perfect if you’re travelling with beginners and/or children as it looks over the nursery slopes and kindergarten. Opt for accommodation further away from the hub so you can relax in the company of family and friends - a couple of our favourites for a cosy stay are Hotel Harfenwirt and the Almdorf cabins.
In previous years, skiers have enjoyed bountiful snowfall meaning fantastic skiing conditions throughout the valley. There’s usually a wonderful old-style Christmas market which will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a Christmas card scene. Many hotels put on gala dinners for the special occasion and a number have onsite bars so you can enjoy a festive drink without stepping out the door- ideal for families with children.
Choose from a variety of board options with our hotels or opt for self-catering with our apartments and make Christmas dinner the same as it is back home. Most of our accommodation is paired with flights and transfers for the easiest and cheapest way to book or you can choose to drive yourself with a self-drive package where channel crossings are included.
