Ischgl Christmas holidays
The Christmas spirit comes alive here with pretty lights, festive parties and glass upon glass of Glühwein and Jaegertee. Past skiers and boarders have seen excellent snow at Christmas and with the learning slopes at Idalp at 2300m, even beginners can experience the quality snow that the piste has to offer. ‘Christmas in the Mountain’ is an annual event that in previous years has seen live music concerts and carolling to really get you in to the festive spirit.
If you want to be near all the festive action choose a central hotel such as Hotel Elisabeth or take a quiet retreat with family and friends at Hotel Piz Tasna. Hotels come in a variety of board options offering a choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner in their own restaurants – some even have their own bars making evening excursions to the après scene a doddle. Our fully catered chalets (usually including breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with wine) offer a social and traditional alpine experience at Christmas. Most properties put on a special Christmas feast on the big day so you can relax and soak up the excitement with the hard work done for you.
Most of our accommodation is paired with flights and transfers for the easiest and cheapest way to book or you have the option to drive yourself by booking a self-drive package with channel crossings included. Give us a call with any travel preferences and remember to book early to snatch up the best deal!
