Finkenberg Easter holidays
Finkenberg is one of the best resorts around for a spot of late season skiing; the main reason for this is the Hintertux glacier. Austria’s only year round ski area, you’re assured of a snowy welcome when you arrive in Easter. With daytime temperatures often above freezing, you’re more than likely to be able to top up your tan whilst you’re on the slopes. If you don’t quite feel up to the challenge of hitting the glacier yet, worry not; the other skiable areas nearby are all ably covered by snowmaking- especially good news for beginners planning on spending some time at lower altitudes.
With sun terraces and al fresco dining opportunities all over the resort, there’s never been a better excuse for an early après in the sun. Take the kids to Christas Skialm, and enjoy some delicious rotisserie chickens whilst they run amok in the snowy playground.
Easter’s a great time to embark on a self-drive holiday- the roads are less busy this time of year, and the conditions traditionally much better- you’ll also be able to take as much luggage as you can squeeze in the car, and stock up on tasty treats in Calais on the way down. Taking advantage of good late season conditions is easier than ever with one of our all inclusive packages that includes flights and transfers- we’ll have you on the slopes in a jiffy.
