Finkenberg Christmas holidays
Finkenberg is the archetypical Austrian resort when it comes to the festive season. The size of the village lends itself to a Christmas stroll- the quiet streets are the perfect environment for a romantic wander. The Wilten Boys' Choir is one of the oldest and most traditional choirs in the Alps, and they’re regularly found performing during the festive season- the Tux Centre is host to an array of events at this time of the year.
There’ll be no danger of children misbehaving before Christmas with the Krampus about! The sinister sidekick of St. Nick, the Krampus will ensure everyone is well behaved- one look at his long fur and horns and you won’t hear a bad word from the kids all week!
Most years the advent market will run regularly throughout December. Homemade arts and crafts will make great stocking fillers for those back home, and the Glühwein and edible goodies are sure to tickle your taste buds.
The great artificial snow coverage should relax you ahead of your trip- the Hintertux glacier is just around the corner as well- so there’s no danger you’ll miss out on the snow this early in the season.
