Bad Gastein Half Term holidays
Half term is one of the most popular times of year for a ski holiday and it’s certainly an amazing time of year to visit Bad Gastein too. The ski conditions are at an all-time high at this time of year, offering an amazing week of skiing.
This is a great time of year to visit with kids as there a plenty of activities off the slopes to keep them entertained - choose between, the cinema, bowling, ice skating, tobogganing and sleigh rides, perfect activities for kids of all ages!
The Snow Park in the resort is a particularly great place for youngsters. It has a number of child friendly obstacles for them to navigate and two conveyor belts, one carousel and snow tubes. Schneesportgastein is a highly regarded ski school that offers great lessons for children and will cater completely to their skiing needs. There is also the option of taking ski lessons as a family so you can all learn to ski together! This is a busy time of year at the resort so make sure you book your ski lessons in advance to avoid disappointment.
