Zermatt is a great adventurous resort, with a high percentage of advanced skiers. There are lots of different runs with an iconic view of the Matterhorn while you ski.
The resort is considered to be one of the best in Europe, with the amazing Matterhorn looming high over the town. Zermatt skiing makes you feel like you can do this all day as the slopes are continuous and a lot of fun. Zermatt has vast terrain amongst spectacular surrounds.
For those who do not wish to ski all day, there are stunning mountain restaurants where you can have a lavish long lunch!
The resort sits at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn (4,478m) and on the flanks of the heavily glaciated Monte Rosa (4,634m).
