The 'Les Poussins' based in Chantemerle-Saint Chaffrey, accepts children from eight months of age up till 5 years, but only from 18 months in the French school holidays - which means Christmas/New Year, Easter and most of February. The French Ski School (ESF) accepts children from 2.5 years of age in to special classes with Jardin des Neiges snow gardens for fun learning at all three bases. The International Ski School also run a snow gardens in Villeneuve for children aged 2.5 years and over, you can add lunch club.

ESI Generation Chantemerle
ESI Generation in Chantemerle was founded in 1996 and their state of the art tuition includes excellent courses for children. Kids courses are in small groups of no more than six children of 4/5 years and above. We use a secure environment that has been especially adapted for small skiers and focus on games to make skiing fun. Morning or afternoon 2.5 hour lessons are available and in the February holidays we also offer midday 2 hour sessions.
Children’s snowboard training courses are available in groups of 8 for children from 7 years. Helmet & wrist protectors are compulsory.

E.S.I. Evasion
At the Evasion International Ski School in Chantemerle, our state certified instructors provide group classes for children aged 4 and above. Our group sizes are from 3 – 8, and we have lessons for all levels. Morning, midday and afternoon classes are available, as well as full day. Children under 6 can get a free ski pass from the ticket office, and for older children you can book passes together with our lessons.
