When you see the ring of summits surrounding the Saas valley you can only gaze in wonder. The many four-thousand-metre peaks tower towards the sky and awaken our sense of adventure. Here are a few highlights from our programme: The Allalin, 4027 m Ascent: 2 hrs., descent: 1 hr. The easiest and most popular 4000 m-peak in the region. It can be undertaken safely with a guide by almost anyone. The Allalinhorn can also be undertaken by families. You ride up to the Mittelallalin at 3500 m above sea-level in the morning; from here there are only about another 500 vertical metres to tackle. Adventure Forest
An adventure forest has been opened July 2004 in Saas-Fee. Swing on a liana from tree to tree or walk unsteadily across hanging bridges: a forest full of adventure for the whole family with various routes and degrees of difficulty. Opening hours: 13.06.-27.06.09 and September/October: daily from noon to 6 p.m., last admission: 4 p.m. 28.06.-30.08.09: daily from 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m., last admission: 5 p.m. Closed in case of thunder storms or bad weather. Please enquire at the tourist office. The Adventure Forest closes on 19 October 2009. Tariffs start at 13€ depending on the route. Children under 16 must be accompanied
