Saalbach is a wonderful resort which is famous for its vibrant, après ski and nightlife, with the party starting from 3pm and running till early morning. Lively après ski bars make this a popular party resort, but don’t let this put you off as there are a lot of quieter parts and a great selection of good, family-run hotels.
Off the slopes, the Saalbach Valley is home to some excellent walking trails and groomed cross country routes and wonderful shopping experiences.
Up on the mountain, there are several tobogganing routes, including a floodlit trail down Reiterkogel.
Tourismus Service Center Saalbach - Hinterglemm serves as a modern information centre for guests.
