Since 1976 the Hinterhag Alm has built a cult reputation for its legendary après ski. There is a unique atmosphere in this vintage wooden venue, found directly next to the Kohlmais slope. You can take your drinks outside too. Relax in their comfy deckchairs and enjoy the mountain views. The crowds gather from 4pm for an après ski experience like no other.

Bäckstätt Stall
Right at the foot of the Bernkogel ski slope, Bäckstätt Stall has room for 250 people to celebrate some après ski in style! Try the Glühwein, homemade Schnapps or a delicious hot chocolate in this typically Austrian venue with stunning surrounding views of the village and mountain. Top DJs play music every afternoon, so have a dance or relax in a deckchair. Keep the party going in the “Heuboden” and “Tenne” bars with a great rustic and cosy atmosphere throughout the night.

Hinterhag Alm is right by the Kohlmais piste, above Hotel Hinterhag and only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the resort. The party usually starts at 4pm with live music and dancing – a must visit, this is Saalbach’s top venue for amazing Austrian après ski!

Since 2003 UnderBar has prided it's self on evenings with great live-music, amazing cocktails, freezing cold beer and a lovely gemüt.
