Passo Tonale is located between Lombardy and Trentino Alto Adige.
The tourism office has excellent brochures and information about the location and its surrounds.
Due to the large glacier, Passo Tonale has always been able to ensure an extremely long snow season and not only that but the resort is also exposed to the sun so it is a great place to learn how to ski because its suitable for beginners and advanced skiers.
The tourism office can provide information on the legendary pista nera Paradiso which is 3 km in length, with a vertical drop of 710 metres.
Another part of Passo Tonale is the longest ski slope from Presena-Tonale-Ponte di Legno: 11 Km of slopes with a 1,740 metre vertical drop to do all in one go!
The tourism office can provide you with information for summer holidays and the walks, alpine excursions and trips by mountain bike.
The Paradiso and Presena cable cars in the summer times are open for all the summer months - this can be great for all the climbers and those that want to try an excursion at a high altitude.
In Passo Tonale, there are great beginner and Intermediate facilities, with over 60% of the slopes are marked as intermediate.
The Tourism Office has fantastic information and brochure catalogues that are extremely helpful to those who are new to the area or for avid skiers and those wanting more information on certain pistes, guided walks etc.
