There are 20 km of well-groomed trails available at Panorama for both skate and classic skiing. The variety of terrain on offer is suitable for cross country skiers of all abilities. Highlights include the great scenery along the Toby Creek trail.
If you want to try snow shoeing, check out the Panorama Nordic Centre in the Lower Village. There is around 4 km of trails suited to snow shoeing, and equipment hire and trail maps are available. Also available are snow shoe tours.
Snow shoeing is free as a part of the PanoPass which is included free with every lift ticket and season pass.

Saffire Beads and Flameworks is an artisan shop located in the Pine Lodge in the Upper Village. The shop sells unique artwork and beads produced in the Columbia valley. If you need a bit of time off from skiing and want to exercise your creativity, glass art classes are available. The friendly Saffire team will show you how to make everything from jewellery to beads over an open flame.
Are your little ones (or the inner child in you) still full of beans after a long day’s skiing? If so, check out Panorama Tube and Toboggan Park in the Upper Village, right next to the hot spring pools. The park offers great evening activities for groups and families, staying open even after the ski lifts are closed. In past seasons, the Panorama Tube and Toboggan Park has been included as a part of the Panopass - free for everyone with lift tickets or a season pass.

An experience that you must not miss at Panorama are the hot spring pools. The pools are located within the grounds of the Panorama Springs Lodge and are open to everyone staying at the resort. The slope side location of the pools is spectacular and for this reason, the resort was included in a worldwide list of “10 spectacular ski resort pools and hot tubs” compiled by USA Today. The warm pool is heated to a comfortable 90 F and is a huge 1258 square feet in size. There are also two hot tubs with the upper hot tub heated to 101 F and the lower to 98 F. Towels, showers, lockers and hair dryers are supplied at no extra charge.
