Ortisei is one of the biggest villages in Val Gardena and it is a wonderfully beautiful resort, part of the Dolomiti SuperSki Area.
You will be spoilt for choice as to the south you have Alpe di Siusi which is well known for its short blue and red runs. To the north you have Santa Cristina, which has numerous runs within its large bowl.
The village host numerous pastel coloured buildings and traditional chalets - absolutely gorgeous. The tourism office has a lot of information on all the ski areas and wonderful things to do in the village and not only that but they have information on cafes and restaurants.
Keeping to the traditions, at the heart of the resort is Ortisei's arts and culture and traditional produce / sculptures.
The tourism office is fully prepared to answer all your questions about what to do after a long day on the slopes. They can give you information about the resort’s large number of shops, restaurants and lovely après-bars.
Ortisei is great for beginners and intermediates skiers and a real favourite with families. The tourism office can assist with all the childcare advice and bookings. There are also many advanced ski runs and some off-piste areas as well with some of them being quite challenging and entertaining.

The tourism office has different brochures about restaurants, cafes, shops, handicrafts but also about their traditions and history.
They will also be able to assist with wifi, information about the village and any bookings and parking queries.
