Gurgl , previously known as Obergurgl, is known for top-notch skiing and being a wonderful resort.
The ski season is not only snowy, but also long, and can be quite snow-sure. Gurgl is modern and has state-of-the-art lifts and 112 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes.
Gurgl is centuries old and with age bring an authentic feel and stunning wooden buildings and old churches. The tourism office can assist with history brochures, details of past historical events and historical tourism tickets.
The resort looks great and it is full of boutiques and great hotels. The resort has fantastic apre-ski and there is something for everyone.
