Car-free Les Arcs has comprehensive facilities for children aged three months and older. In Arc 1600 the Garderie La Cachette accepts children from four months of age in the Baby club at the hotel La Cachette. In Les Arc 1800, the ESF have the Les Skimomes mini club for children ages 3-8. Also in 1950 with access to Arc 2000 is the Yeti Camp, with programs for children age 3 to 11 years, also known as the Caribou Club, has a creche for children 9 months to 3 years. Arc 2000 the crèche for children aged 18 months to 6 years is open daily with ski lessons available on request. Otherwise kids from three years up can also join ski classes with the French national course of lessons and testing on offer, some of the courses also providing rental equipment. Children under six don't pay for lift tickets when skiing with a paying adult.

The ski sessions are interspersed with breaks for games and snacks. Information for parents Ensure that your children have all the necessary items: warm clothes, gloves, sun glasses, suncream and tissues. Ski helmets, even for the beginners, are strongly recommended. We also suggest that you place a small snack in their pocket. Please note however that snacks do not replace a proper breakfast that is required at altitude and cold weather.
