With eight different daycare facilities La Plagne once again leads the world. The largest, and accepting children from the youngest age of three months, is the municipal crèche Petits Bonnets at Plagne Centre. Here children are welcome from 5 months up to age 6. At Aime la Plagne the garderie 'La Maison des lutins' accepts children from age 2 year up to 6 years. In Belle Plagne the Municipal daycare will accept children aged 5 months to 4 years and at the Immeuble Corail Belle Plagne there is a youth club. Plagne Bellecote has a mini Club for 3-5 year olds. At Champagny 'les Cabris garderie take children from age two to six. In Montchavin - Les Coches the Les Cimes daycare centre for 3 to 11 years olds and the Calins des Neiges daycare can take children from 5 months to 4 years. The tourist office also has a list of approved baby sitters. Finally in Plagne Montalbert the garderie 'Les Bambins' welcomes children aged from 18 months to 6 years, On the slopes there are 'snow gardens' for the children at all the villages and free lift passes are offered to children until they are age six, more generous than most French resorts. For older kids several of the ski schools have special 'teenager' group courses for children aged 13 to 15 or 17. They operate mostly in the Christmas and Easter holidays as well as all through February and concentrate on adventure skiing in the powder, steeps or on moguls as well as in improving technique so that the various official ability tests can be taken and passed.

Lime Snowsports
Independent British Ski School Lime combine fun and learning to make Children’s ski lessons amazing. Lessons are led by friendly, patient instructors who are experts in teaching children as well as being fully qualified (BASI level 4 ISTD + full French equivalence). They use the very best methods for each child’s age and ability, whether it’s play-based learning, games or competitions.
Private sessions for individuals are the best way to see fast improvement, giving your child undivided attention on lessons based wholly around their ski level and goals.
Private group lessons let siblings and friends of a similar age and level learn and enjoy the slopes together. There’s a set price for up to 3 children, with 5 Euros an hour for any extra children.
Lessons can be flexible depending on your needs, from a quick 2 hour session to half days, full days and full weeks. Supervised lunches cam also be provided before, during or after lessons.

Panda, Yetison and Petit Yeti classes – for beginners of different age groups

Relax in total serenity, For children from age 3, in the Piou Piou Clubs, everything is organised so that they treat skiing as something fun and a game: a protected area featuring special equipment including a rope tow, mini-ski tows, moving carpets, structures and welcoming figures to encourage learning male and female instructors to supervise and instruct tiny tots a Piou Piou Club medal at the end of their stay The Piou Piou Club organises tests for the 'Ourson' qualification, the first of the ESF's ability tests. Some ESF schools offer Piou Piou Club packages that include lunch and lunchtime supervision, enabling parents to ski all day.
