Les p'tits Montagnards Childhood center in the village centre takes children from age 8 months to three years, open from mid-December and end of March, 08:30-17:30. There are 24 places offerd eithr half morning with lunch from 8:30 until 12:30 or afternoon from 13:30-17:30, or a full day including lunch. The Village d'Enfants has 40 place for children between 3 -11 years, ages 3-5 during French holidays and ages 6-11 out side of these. Indoor and outdoor activites and skiing with the ESF kindergarten is prebookable. Many aspects of La Clusaz make it a child friendly resort, registered with the family plus label, the tourist office even has a baby change room and loans board games free of charge! The Beauregard and Confins areas are popular areas for families to build snowmen, try tobogganing or just have a winter walk along the signposted paths. There is also and ice rink and the bowling alley has four lanes as well as billiards, an arcade room and table football, there are also a wide selection of drinks and snacks. For international guests the two factors to be wary of - in common with all French ski resorts, is that the system is primarily geared up to accommodate French children in the French system and the village centre can become very busy with traffic at peak periods.
