Silvretta Galtur Ski School
The Silvretta Galtur ski school has 45 instructors and can normally provide any sort of ski lesson you want – from kids courses to cross country. The school provides a brief ‘counselling interview’ to begin – so they can gauge your ability and plan lessons accordingly. The ski school are particularly brilliant with children. Children just beginning to learn should love the ‘Siggi Kinderland’ (next to the information centre) where they can enjoy the magic carpet, 4 conveyor belts and a merry go-round and a slope with small hills. You have plenty of options whatever your age and ability– Silvretta Galtur even do ski safaris and special activities like ski races every Friday.
The ski school also have a depot with a modern drying system for your equipment (6€ / day for 2 cabinets and 12€ / day for 4 cabinets - prices are usually reduced if you are taking lessons).

Having worked as a ski instructor for many years in St Anton and Australia, Daniel Salner returned to his hometown Galtür to set up his own ski school. While it’s a small school, the instructors are fully qualified and know the area very well as well as being passionate about skiing and snowboarding.
Special services include video analysis and a photography service. Your instructor can also collect you from your accommodation (these special services are upon request).
Private ski and snowboard lessons can be booked for the morning or afternoon (1-3 hours) as well as for a whole day (4-6 hours).
Night skiing lessons are also available and the school also specialize in off-piste guiding, ski touring and heli-skiing.
