With the relaxed atmosphere of Galtur, it is a great resort for families. There is a great mix of nursery slopes, pistes and play areas. Thus is a fantastic spot for freeriders, cross-country and freestyle skiers too. Surrounded by mountains, the resort is picturesque with plenty for adults, teenagers and kids to be entertained. There is a range ski schools, childcare available in resort with Children's Ski School Galtur for children ages 3 and up. There are magic carpet lifts, tubing and more to keep the children entertained. For children from 18 months old, there is a kindergarten onsite with highly trained staff. There are some hotels that offer childcare from 7 days old - 2 years. Some locations even offer baby massage courses ! There is really entertainment for everyone!

Children’s lessons here should keep the young ones entertained.
To begin, there’s the ‘Siggi Kinderland’. It’s right next to the information centre, child only and has all the facilities that child beginners will love – including a magic carpet, 4 conveyor belts and a slope with hills to practice on. There’s even a small chalet for the kids to warm up in!
For more confident young skiers, there are a load of events. For example, the ski school runs a special stamp game once a week where children have to find plaques (and the stamps by them) around the resort and collect them. For those with lessons on Friday, there’s a special treat with timed ski races on a proper slalom course for children with a special disco afterwards to celebrate too.
