Folgarida is known as the ' place of ferns' and is one of the most important economic centres of the area.
A village under the municipality of Dimaro Folgarida, it is one of the most visited resorts, both in the summer and winter.
Folgarida is a great winter resort as it offers a vast network of slopes, runs and modern lifts of the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena Ski area.
A high-mountain circuit links the winter stations located on the different faces of the mountain, enabling skiers to use all the available slopes and runs.
Because the peaks are so high, snow is usually guaranteed and the landscape will leave you stunned and wanting to come back for more.
The resort is a quiet, family friendly and the runs are a great mix of blue and red runs. For the more advanced skiers will enjoy the steeper terrain on the Monte Spinale side of Madonna.
The tourism office is great in supporting you in your ski requirements and all the extras you may need for your holiday.
