Th tourist office provide a list of baby sitters at the beginning of the season online.Children aged 6 months to 3 years can sign up for the Petits Loups nursery open daily from 9am to 5pm. Prices are very reasonable compared to similar facilities elsewhere. The following residences also set up a nursery for customers: Les Terrasses d'Helios (ages 3-10 years) and Hotel-club MMV le flaine has children clubs for ages from 18 months to 15 years. At the https://www.sno.co.uk/ski-holidays/hotel-le-flaine_11917/ there is the Pepi Penguin Nursery for 6 months to 4 years and the Beanie Bear club from 3 to 8 years that will facilitate lessons as well. The ESI has ski kindergarten from 3 to 4 and half years, Green mouse Club. For age 3 to 4 there is the Ecole du ski Français (ESF) Club Piou-Piou with 3 different areas that can be used. ESF run daily except Saturday and parents can decide whether to book for half or full days, with or without lunch. Both schools ski tuition from 5 years and also offer snowboarding tuition from age 8, and cater for teenagers. In the evening Flaine's car free environment makes it a safer place than most to wander around with children. Families can enjoy skating, sledging and maybe the cinema together. Other activities available are bowling, ice quad biking, mountain karting , dog sledding and there is an aquatics centre for swimming.
