Corvara, as part of the Alta Badia region is well suited to families. There isn’t any childcare option for children under the age of 3 but for those that are older, the resort has plenty to offer. The ski schools offer lessons in the baby club for 3 4 year olds, 11-1 Mon to Wed and then 11-4 on Thu and Fri. For 4 and 5 year olds, there is the option of slightly long program, and extra hour a day. Children 6+ and teenagers have a full day option. The ski schools have kids’ areas in the resort to cater for the younger children and beginners. Further up the slopes there are the areas to challenge and excited, notably the Speedcheck track to measure your downhill speed, the Snowpark at the Ciampai slope with 5 areas and 34 obstacles for snowboarders and Freeskiers to practice on. There is also the Funcross la Para, with two courses, one with snow waves, the other with banked curves and directional changes. Off the slopes there is tobogganing and skating with an "ice Dance Disco" option at the ice stadium. Indoors there is boulder centre for climbing and another ice rink.

Skikinderland Kindergarten
The Skikinderland Kindergarten provides day care for children from 3 + years (usually 10:00 – 16:30). Amongst the fun and games of the day they also get lunch. Not only are there indoor facilities but they make time to have a run around in the snow whilst being wrapped up warm. Childcare options are always worth researching before you go as parents up the mountain can thoroughly enjoy their day and get down to some exploring without having to worry about the little ones.
