The Bad Gastein resort is limited in its childcare, however you can hire private nannies for the younger children. For the older children, they can attend the ski schools in the area. Bad Hofgastein may be a better option if you are looking for a ski resort in the area with childcare. Bad Gastein has great slopes for beginners with gentle nursery slopes. The resort is wonderful and steeped in history. The Silverbullet is a great apres-ski spot with great cocktails and live music. Bad Gastein has a top height of2600m so is a lot more snow-sure than other Austrian ski resorts.

Ski-Kindergarten Gastein
Childcare for full days can be proviced at tghe ski kindergarten of the Schneesportschule, allowing you to enjoy a great day on the snow while your little ones are safe and having lots of fun indoors and out! Children over 3 will be looked after in the safe hands of the ski schools instructors, who will teach them to ski in a safe and fun environment as well as provide lots of fun games and activities!
Lunch and lunch-time supervision are included. There’s a also a play area for children to relax after a fun time of skiing.
