Ski in ski out Austria
Austria is less known for slopeside accommodation that France, because its' best ski destinations are not purpose-built, but instead authentic old alpine villages built in bygone centuries. This means they are (for practical and climatic reason back in the day) lower down the mountain but... there are some notable and rightly famous exceptions such as St Anton, Obergurgl and Lech where you can ski to or from the door. For some of the finest views in Austria check out the Riml in Hochgurgl or stick in a big hitter with the world's best apres ski in St Anton at the Hotel Post.
Luxury Austrian Slopeside Hotels
With the biggest number of ski in ski out hotels in Austria, Obergurgl's most popular options include the Alpina Deluxe Resort, the Bergwelt set 500m above the town right in the slopes, the Gothard with it's amazing mountain views and one of our guests most booked and rebooked the Edelweiss and Gurgl.
