The cabins are within walking distance of the Ylläsrinne Hotel where your half board meals will be taken. it is between 150 - 1,000 metres walk depending on the cabin you are staying in.

It is 3.5 kilometres to Ylläsjarvi Ski Resort from the cabins and there is a ski bus service which you can pay for locally.

It is also 14 kilometres to Äkäslompolo town located on the other side of the fell with a bus service connecting the two sides.

And when you're not out searching for Santa or exploring Lapland on one of our exciting excursions, you can look forward to getting back to your cabin to cosy up by the fire.

As a minimum, all cabins provide kitchen facilities with fridge, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. They all have a sauna to warm up in after exploring the great outdoors, plus bed linen and towels are included (beds to be made on arrival).

Please note that the steps to the mezzanines are steep and mezzanine ceilings are low or sloping.

Kissalanminttu 1 , 2 & 3 sleep 1-4 people and are about 38m². Each cabin has one double bedroom with an additional single bunk above, plus a single sofa bed in the living room. There is also one bathroom WC with wet room style shower and a drying closet. These cabins are semi-detached and sit side by side, located about 1000 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel.

Villa Lumi 3 & 4 sleep 1-4 people and are about 50m². These cabins have one small double bedroom in an alcove which is separated from the living room by a curtain, and a mezzanine with 2 single beds. Each cabin has one bathroom WC. Cabin 3 is semi-detached and cabin 2 is adjacent, both are located about 600 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel.

Karpalo sleeps 2-5 people and is about 44m². This cabin has one twin bedroom, plus one single and one double bed on the mezzanine. There is one bathroom WC with shower. This cabin is semi detached and located 500 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel.

Villa Ylläs A& B sleep 2-6 people and are about 55m². Villa Ylläs A has two twin bedrooms, Villa Ylläs B has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom and both cabins have two single beds in the mezzanine (suitable for children aged 8-14 years only). There is one bathroom WC with shower. These cabins are semi-detached and sit side by side, located about 500 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel.

Hotellintie 2B (Mökkelö) sleeps 2-6 people and is about 55m². This cabin has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom plus 2 single beds in the mezzanine (suitable for children aged 8-14 years only). There is one bathroom WC with a shower. This cabin is semi-detached and located about 300 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel.

Oskari & Justinna sleep 2-6 people and are about 52m². Both cabins have one double bedroom, one single bedroom (Oskari) or a twin bedroom (Justinna) plus 2 single beds in the mezzanine (suitable for children aged 8-14 years only). There is one bathroom WC with shower and drying closet. These cabins are semi-detached and located 200 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel. The image used is of cabin Justinna, the style of Oskari is very similar.

Palovartjian Maja sleeps 2-7 people and is about 52m². This cabin has one twin bedroom, one bunk-bed room with 3rd small single bed (suitable for children aged 8-14 years only) and a mezzanine with a double bed. There is one bathroom WC with shower. This cabin is semi-detached and is about 150 metres from the Ylläsrinne Hotel.

Aukun Maja sleeps 4-10 people and is 147m². This cabin has three double bedrooms, all with single bunk above and single sofa bed in the living room. There is a large living room on the ground floor with dining area. Upstairs there is another large dining area and kitchen, a separate WC and one bathroom WC with a shower and a drying closet.
