Sleeps: 26-31 guests.
The Le Dôme is an ‘Xtra Chalet ’ – giving you all the benefits of one of our welcoming chalets, but enhanced by some added extras, run by our own friendly and helpful staff.
Le Dôme is a comfortable and excellent value Xtra Chalet, ideally located in the picturesque village of Tignes 1850.
Access to the skiing couldn’t be easier, as the main high-speed Boisses 8-person gondola, opened just two years ago, takes you straight to a choice of chairlifts - one up to the Aiguille Percée, and the other to the top of the Chaudannes slopes above Tignes Le Lac. Or you can ski the leisurely blue down to Tignes Les Brevières and take the Sache cable-car up from there. You can also ski right back to the Chalet at the end of the day, and for access to the other Tignes villages of Le Lac and Val Claret, the free ski-bus runs until midnight. Le Dôme’s en suite bedrooms all have a cosy, traditional feel and some do vary in size. The bar and lounge area have a log-burner and free Wi-Fi, making this the ideal place to relax, whether over afternoon tea or coffee and a nightcap at the end of the day.

Christmas & New Year Celebrations
Join us for a proper ‘White Christmas’ in the Alps! All our chalets have a Christmas tree and most have log fires, so combined with great food, good company, and no cooking or washing up, there’s no better place to be! We serve turkey with all the trimmings on Christmas Day, with a pre-dinner glass of Champagne, mince pies and Christmas pudding to follow crackers.
On New Year’s Eve, all our chalets and Chalet Hotels serve a special Celebration Menu, preceded by a glass of Champagne. After dinner join the resort festivities, generally with fireworks to see in the New Year.
•Espace Killy ski area •Fantastic après ski •High altitude skiing
Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
