Overview: hotel description: Thermal Resort Hotel Elisabethpark description

Elisabethpark Hotel is in the centre of Bad Gastein, so it’s the ideal spot if you like to join the buzz of a place when off the mountain. They have a shuttle service which will take you to and from the lifts, which only costs a little extra for use throughout the whole week.

The place itself is a grand, traditionally-styled Austrian hotel – which might feel a tad dated in areas, but which has a real, authentic charm. If you like to unwind after a day on the slopes, you might be tempted by a session in one of the three saunas, or a few gentle laps in the indoor pool, which has loungers and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at forested slopes.

As for evening meals, you’ll get three courses of Austrian fare that’s served buffet style, so you can pick and choose to find your faves. Here over the festive period? Gala dinners are included on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve to make your night extra special.
