Cosy and contemporary, the Stølstunet Apartments make a great choice for your trip to Beitostølen. They’re in a great location close to all the amenities and an easy 5-minute walk to the ski lifts. There are even some shops on the ground floor, including a small supermarket.

Each of the apartments is decorated to a high standard, with a very modern finish. The separate bedrooms and living rooms give everyone a little privacy, which makes them ideal for both families and friends. They all have a well-equipped kitchenette complete with oven and dishwasher.

If you do want to take the pressure off mealtimes though, you can upgrade your board basis to get breakfast, dinner or half board included, with all meals taken at the Hotel Bergo.

The apartments come with free WiFi, and for a small extra charge you can use the huge indoor pool and the nearby Radisson Blu Resort for the whole week.

Beitostølen (say it bait-oh-st-er-len) is one of seven resorts in Southern Norway’s Valdres region. Ideal for first time skiers, the slopes around the village are mostly gentle and often deserted – with two long greens from the top of the Ola-Express (Knuteløypa and Frognerbakken), a handful of gentle blues (we like Stolheisbakken and Olabakken) and a couple of reds on either end of the area to aspire to. In a village that takes only about 5 minutes to cross, après in Beito is more laid-back than loud. It’s about hunkering down in one of the resort’s four friendly pubs, an ample measure of Gløgg in hand and an ear to one of the frequent live bands.
