The Lodge is in a great spot for kicking off your ski days. The F13 drag lift’s right outside, so you can pop over and be headed for the top in no time at all. Getting back at the end of the day is also a doddle – there’s a network of green runs nearby that aren’t just good for practicing your turns, but make for a nice easy ride back to the hotel for an easy finish too.
No doubt you’ll have skied up an appetite. Thankfully, the apartments have sizable kitchens that’ll see you geared up for making group meals. There’s even a dishwasher, so no squabbling over who gets to wash up. Of course, you have the option to upgrade if you fancy hanging up the spatula and can enjoy bed and breakfast or half board in the hotel’s restaurant.
Inside, SkiStar Lodge is quite striking. The apartments and rooms all look modern and stylish, with some handsome Scandinavian design on show. The facilities are no exception – the pool area, the sauna, the bar and the restaurant all feel super luxurious. The fireplace in the bar is certainly a great place to head when you get back from the slopes, so you can get toasty and relax with a well-earned hot chocolate.
