Ski Total provide ski holidays in top ski resorts across France, Austria, and Italy. With a choice of catered chalet or chalet hotel accommodation, packages commonly include flights from a choice of UK airports and transfers. There’s often also the option to travel independently if that’s your preference.

This chalet company turn their attention to detail in many ways – from providing board games and free WiFi to festive touches at Christmas and New Year.

Packages are generally ‘adult-only’, though if you’re travelling with children, over 11’s are usually welcome during school holiday weeks – get us to double check the latest details if you’re bringing youngsters along. Though Ski Total are more adult-focussed, their sister company Esprit Ski specialise in family ski holidays and can usually provide childcare if needed.

Ski Total Chalets

Ski Total’s idea behind their chalets is to create a home from home environment in stunning mountain locations. Hosts greet you at the start of your holiday, then take care of catering and cleaning during your stay. In some properties they’ll live in the chalet with you, in others they stay elsewhere.

There are over thirty chalets on offer, the smallest fitting around 6 guests and larger ones sleeping 70-80. As well as differing in size, properties come in a range of styles and locations. Chances are you’ll find a great match whatever the size of your group, your preference of traditional v. contemporary style or whether you prefer ski-in, ski-out, the resort centre or somewhere a little more secluded.

This company use their own rating system for their chalets, but generally you can expect their 5-star properties to have a few more indulgent features like hot tubs and rooms with extra-scenic views. 4-star chalets are still a super choice, offering more than just the basics but costing that little bit less.

Food-wise, a typical day usually includes a hearty breakfast, afternoon tea with cake, a pre-dinner glass of something sparkly and a 3-course dinner with a choice of wines. That tends to be the case for 6 days of your stay, leaving 1 when you can head out to try the local cuisine at your restaurant of choice. It’s usually possible to order a packed lunch to take with you on the pistes for a small fee. An evening meal might be something along the lines of a soup starter, grilled chicken main with mash and veg, and crumble for dessert. The exact details of chalet catering can change, so do check the specifics with us before you book. Also, do let us know in advance if you’re a vegetarian or have any other dietary requirements.

Ski Total Chalet Hotels

These bring chalet customs to hotel properties which range in size, hosting as few as 25 guests to as many as 80. Meals tend to be similar to what you’d find in a normal chalet, including the fact that 1 night per week you’re free to make your own evening meal arrangements. You’ll find more communal areas such as a lounge, bar and sometimes a swimming pool and wellness facilities. The higher-rated chalet hotels offer a few extra touches like a bigger selection of wines and more flexible dining times.

Back in 1982, Ski Total was founded by a pair of ski enthusiasts who shared a love for mountains and skiing. Over the years their portfolio of chalet and chalet hotels has expanded, creating the amazing selection you’ll find today. Now part of the Hotelplan UK group, Ski Total has two ‘sister’ ski companies - family ski holiday specialist, Esprit Ski, and one of the UK’s longest operating ski companies, Inghams. They operate from Godalming in Surrey.
