Snowboxx is a hedonistic week-long festival that first launched in 2013 in Andorra. It is since then evolved into a much larger scale mountain carnival. This festival offers the perfect blend of ski holiday and music festival. It has stages and venues located at various spots across the slopes at altitudes of over 2000m. Avoriaz is perfectly situated for a festival of this proportion, with a vast ski area comprising of 14 resorts and 650km of pistes. There is certainly no shortfall of skiing or activities here. There are plenty of options off the slopes too, including a heated indoor water park, spas, a squash court, cinemas, ice skating and bowling.

Transport to Avoriaz is very simple; fly into Geneva and from here you can get a bus, private transfer, or train. You could also hire a car, but the resort is car-free, so it would be more convenient to get there via another mode of transport. The closest train station is Thonon Les Bains Station (TGV), Cluses Station and Geneve Station. From the train stations there are shuttles and coaches to ferry people to the Welcome Point in resort. There are special electric taxis and horse drawn sleighs to take you from the Welcome Point or the Cable Car station to your accommodation.
