Rock The Pistes – Portes du Soleil, March

Rock The Pistes hosts an amazing 35 concerts in a week across a vast range of high-altitude venues in Portes du Soleil. Discover the jaw-dropping scenery from the slope-side stages that are only accessible by ski and snowboard. Entry to the festival couldn’t be easier, as your lift pass is your ticket to this pleasurable sensory experience. Previous headliners have included Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, The Klaxons, Wilkinson, and Craig David among plenty more. Games are also organised on the pistes, such as a two-day treasure hunt open to everyone.

Tomorrowland – Alpe d’Huez, March

The winter edition of the global festival phenomenon is hosted in the ‘Island of the Sun’ resort of Alpe d’Huez. This EDM and techno festival hosts some of the hottest DJs in the world and promises a week of high-altitude partying through day and night. Previous headliners include Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix and Fedde Le Grand. Options are available to book either a 4-day or 7-day package, which include accommodation, lift pass and festival entry.

Snowbombing Festival – Mayrhofen, April

Chances are you have heard of Snowbombing or even been part of this epic week of live music and fun-filled activities. From top of the mountain raves to more intimate forest parties, this is a festival experience not to be missed. Everything you could possibly desire for a ski festival has been thought of in the buzzing resort of Mayrhofen, which is testament to why this long-running festival has been going for the last twenty years. Snowbombing has hosted world-famous DJs and artists such as Fatboy Slim, Pendulum, Foals, Sub Focus, among many more.

Snowboxx – Avoriaz, March

Snowboxx offers the perfect combination of a ski holiday and music festival. Situated in the completely pedestrianised resort of Avoriaz, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil region. Soak up the breath-taking views and glide down the abundance of ski terrain with slopes spanning over 650km. Past guests have included Chase & Status, Basement Jaxx, Wilkinson, and plenty more firm favourites among the electronic, D’n’B, and house enthusiasts – there is something for everyone here. This festival is not just about the music, check out the activities including bottomless brunches, downhill races on inflatables, snowball fights, a heated indoor water park, spas and quality food and drink throughout the week.

Rise Festival – Les Deux Alpes, December

This ‘Party On Top Of The World’ is one of the only European ski festivals to be held at the beginning of the season, making it the best way to kick off the winter season, and be home in time for a relaxing Christmas. Rise is hosted Les Deux Alpes, home to Europe’s largest skiable glacier. Expect the best of house, garage, and drum & bass. Away from the music, there are plenty of snowsports on offer, such as dog sledding, an ice disco, plus a whole host of wholesome wellness activities.
