Ski Armadillo
This small, independent company proclaims the three pillars of a great ski trip to be excellent food, superb skiing and unrivalled service. We’re inclined to agree.
Aptly named ‘Armadillo’, they like to stand out from the crowd with luxury catered, flexi-catered or self-catered ski chalets in a couple of smashing Swiss resorts.
Ski Armadillo Holidays
These holidays are to the resorts of Verbier and Nendaz in Switzerland’s famous Four Valleys ski area, featuring chalets that are set to impress. Whether you decide on a traditional alpine lodge or contemporary penthouse, Armadillo are known for injecting fine details aplenty: think hand-crafted wooden furniture, fresh fruit bowls, posh bath products, feature fireplaces, south-facing balconies... Top notch tech like WiFi, TV’s and sound systems are also the norm to make sure you’re able to stream Netflix or boogie to your heart’s content.
Travel isn’t typically included in these 7 night packages but we can arrange this for you separately - or you have the option of booking your own flights or coming in the car (Calais to Verbier being about a 9 hour drive). It’s possible to pre-order and pay for your lift passes and ski hire before your holiday, making things much smoother on day one. A qualified nanny service and local ski lessons (private or group) can also be arranged if you need them.
Full ATOL protection means that your holiday money is safe and sound from the moment you book.
Ski Armadillo Catered Chalets
Sleeping from 6 to 18 guests, these catered chalets are ideal for a family, a bundle of several families, or group of friends. Most rooms come with an en-suite and a balcony for you to make good use of during the week, not to mention the chalet pools, hot tubs and saunas that give more luxurious properties that extra dazzle. As the locations of these chalets are carefully chosen, you should find a quick and easy route to the ski slopes as well as the numerous shops, eateries and bars in town.
When you book the catered package, you have a personal Ski Armadillo host and cook on hand throughout your stay to ensure everything runs smoothly, with your breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal provided on 6 days (they have one day off). With a real dinner party feel, your menu could be something along the lines of a rice salad starter, followed by a hearty chicken casserole, with treacle tart and ice cream for pudding. The meal is typically accompanied by two pairs of carefully selected wines. What’s more, they usually throw a classy drinks reception with canapés on your first and last evenings, so you’ll want to make sure you pack some of your glad rags.
Ski Armadillo Flexi-Catered or Self-Catered Chalets
The very same bunch of chalets are sometimes available to hire without catering, or with a stripped-back catering service if that’s what you’d prefer. Do get in touch with us if you’re interested in this.
Ski Armadillo Deals
You’ll sometimes spot some smashing last-minute deals on these packages.
Even better - if you pre-order lift passes at the time you book your holiday, you may be able to snatch some darn good savings, like buy one get one half price.

Ski Armadillo Brand & History
Two friends bought this business into being at the beginning of the noughties for two pretty simple reasons: 1) they love skiing and 2) they love Verbier.
They operate from their UK office in Brighton and have a Swiss base in Bagnes.
