Location: where is Simiane

Small apartment house "Simiane", 3 storeys. Above La Toussuire, in a quiet, elevated position, 500 m from the skiing area, north-east facing position. In the complex: lift, storage room for skis. In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking. Shop 400 m, grocery 200 m, restaurant, bar, bus stop 350 m. Chair lift 200 m, slopes 500 m, ski bus stop 150 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Les Sybelles. Please note: ski bus (free of charge). The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency INTERHOME in STATION DU CORBIER, 4 km.

Simple and practical furnishings: living/dining room with curtain with 1 x 2 bunk beds (80 cm, length 190 cm), TV, DVD and electric shutters. Exit to the balcony, south facing position. Alcove with curtain with 1 french bed (140 cm, length 200 cm), electric shutters. Exit to the balcony, south facing position. Small kitchen (dishwasher, 2 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Bathroom, sep. WC. Heating. Carpet. Large balcony 6 m2, south facing position. Beautiful view of the mountains and the resort. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, extra). Please note: non-smokers only. You get a lot of pistes for your pennies in La Toussuire. It’s part of France’s fourth biggest ski area and also big on affordable accommodation – so if you like to self-cater and ski your socks off, this place is spot on.

Up on a plateau at 1750m and surrounded by 2000m+ peaks, La Toussuire’s not the biggest name in French skiing, but it’s spot on if you’re looking for a cheap ski holiday that doesn’t scrimp on terrain. The Front de neige area is beginner territory, with a gaggle of short green and blue runs served by drag lifts. In the blue department, Marmotte is a lovely long, winding descent from Tete de Bellard to La Toussuire that shows off the sheer beauty of the surroundings. If you’d pick dinner and drinks over pitchers and parties any day, the après ski here’s more suited for you – no dancing on table tops or champagne showers here. Le Tonneau’s a good people pleaser, where you can sit and drink beer and wine, watch live sport or tuck into fondue, pizzas or crepes.
