Overview: apartment description: Silverado Lodge description

Amid the peaks of the Wasatch Mountains is the magnificent Silverado Lodge. The stylish building is eye catching with its very own clock tower, so it definitely makes its presence known in Canyons Village. The accommodation is only a short walk or shuttle ride to the Red Pine gondola and the resort village, you’re never far from any of the festivities, shops and restaurants that you’re bound to want to explore.

Once inside you can absorb the contemporary rustic elegance of Silverado’s build, and drink in the beautifully designed lobby with enticing fireplace built into the fabulous central pillar, and vaulted ceilings. Though compelling, this fabulous hotel is also affordable, so you don’t have to worry about breaking the bank to experience the Silverado. Families and couples will love the hotel as it has the comfort of home amid the rustic luxury of the décor. The rooms are homely with wooden furnishings and comfy leather sofas finished with soft, plump cushions. The one bedroom condos have huge beds so you can stretch out those muscles at night, or in the studios you’ll feel like you’re in the movies with a pull down Murphy bed. And whatever side of the hotel you wake up in, you’re guaranteed to have fantastic views of the mountains and village.

If you’re a fussy eater, then there’s no need to spare because every accommodation comes with a fully equipped kitchen for you to cook up anything you want, and as often as your heart desires. However, if you’re planning for a few meals out during your stay, Silverado Lodge is home to the Bistro at Canyons serving up modern bistro kosher cuisine throughout the winter. With the Bistro being the first restaurant of its kind in the US, you have a unique experience to boast about once you return home.

If the kids still crave excitement after a day on the slopes then Silverado has an outdoor pool that they can muck about in. But if you just need a break then the hotel also has its own wellness centre that you can unwind in. If you want to tick as many things off your bucket list as possible, then Canyons Village has a range of activities on offer for everyone including husky sled rides, sleigh rides and even a zip line tour.

Nestled in Utah’s Wasatch Mountain Range near Salt Lake City, Park City has blessed millions of budding athletes with awesome skiing for over 50 years and has consistently been acclaimed for almost every aspect of ski holidays. SKI Magazine awarded it #5 best resort in the west, #3 for après in the west and #2 family resort in the west, whilst Freeskier gave it 2nd place for its parks and TransWorld Snowboard gave it 4th for pipes – and all this is only for 2014. The area is divided into 7 different zones. Comprising of 8 peak and 9 bowls, the variation is astounding. Beginners will revel in a number of areas - the ski school is a fantastic place to learn, with their signature classes maintaining numbers of 5 or less students, giving everyone quality time with the instructor. Homerun is one of the best beginner runs on the mountain: it descends right down from the top of the Pioneer Lift to the bottom of the mountain, a great test for any novice. This resort has often ...
Being the central location for Mormonism, up until 2009 saw Utah enforce a law that you had to buy membership to an establishment in order to drink in it. Luckily, this has since been relaxed, although you’re not allowed to have 2 alcoholic drinks in front of you. Despite these restrictions, Park City has a very healthy and vibrant après scene, allowing you to party the night away after a long day on the slopes. With over 100 restaurants in the city, you have options that cover almost every type of food you ...
