Davos Ski Weekends
One of the oldest, highest and greatest towns in the alps, Davos is brilliant for a weekend or midweek break. There’s more than enough to ski over a few days, with 300km of terrain linking over to the charming village of Klosters – whether you prefer cruisey blues, rip-roaring off piste or big-time terrain parks, this place has it.
Being a proper town, there’s a lot going on to fill your hours off the slopes. Sip local beers at the Monstein brewery, drink and dance at Bolgenschanze or brush up on local history at the winter museum.
When it comes to getting here, Zurich airport is a couple of hours drive away. Most hotels offer B&B for short breaks, which gives you a chance to get to know the cafes and restaurants at lunch and supper times, but have a hearty breakfast ready and waiting for you each morning.
