Santa's Hotel Tunturi Gielas & Kont, Saariselka, Finland / Lapland

The Gielas and Kontio rooms are the more modern and stylish options of the Santa's Hotel Tunturi. They are each in their own buildings just a short walk from the main Tunturi building, which is home to the reception, bar and restaurant.

The newly renovated Kontio building is actually just opposite. This is where guest will eat their breakfast and evening meals.

The hotel is in an ideal location within Saariselka and there are plenty of tobogganing options around you. It's also right next to the National Park, which is perfect for family walks and spotting the Northern Lights.

Here you have a choice of some modern and spacious rooms and suites. They're all part of the Hotel Tunturi, which is by the National Park perfect for a walk and Northern Lights spotting.

• Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type D)

  The Gielas family bedroom has 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed, which is suitable for 1 grown-up or 2 children. You'll have an en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment), sauna and a balcony. Located in a separate building, the Gielas has its own bar and restaurant. You'll have breakfast here, with all other meals being located in the main Tunturi restaurant.

  SLEEPS 2-4

• Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type E)

  More spacious than a Type D with 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed, which is suitable for 1 grown-up or 2 children. You'll have an en-suite bathroom, (bath with shower attachment), sauna and balcony. Located in a separate building, the Gielas has its own bar and restaurant. You'll have breakfast here, with all other meals being located in the main Tunturi restaurant.

  SLEEPS 3-4

• Kontio Deluxe Bedrooms (Type M)

  These spacious deluxe bedrooms are located in the Kontio building, close to the main Tunturi restaurant, bar and reception. You'll have twin beds and a sofa-bed that fits 1 adult or 2 children, along with a sauna and private en-suite bathroom. Breakfast and dinner with both be located in the main Santa's Hotel Tunturi restaurant.

  SLEEPS 2-4

• Kontio Suites (Type N)

  These suites are roomy (bigger than the deluxe bedrooms) and stylish. You'll have twin beds and then in a separate room there's a sofa-bed for 1 adult or 2 children. The suite also has a sauna and private en-suite bathroom with shower. Breakfast and dinner with both be located in the main Santa's Hotel Tunturi restaurant.
