This Finnish resort is one with focus on the whole wintery experience and not just the skiing. The small collection of slopes is 1km away from the village with a bus service to get you there. Once there, you’ll find some easy skiing between the trees with options for freestyling, tobogganing and cross-country skiing. There’s a bunch of stuff to get involved off the slopes from trekking and snowshoeing to husky rides, ice fishing and visits to Santa.
