· 5 minutes' walk to the resort centre and ski school · 10-15 minutes' walk to the nearest lift · 1 minute's walk to the ski bus stop
Austrian charm has been blended with modern touches to create the Rudolfshof Hotel, located just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Kaprun. It’s a bit further to the lifts, but you can always hop on the ski bus if you don’t fancy walking. And you only have to look out the window for stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.
The hotel’s traditional exterior mirrors the inside, where the wooden décor and warm colours will make you feel right at home. After a hard day’s skiing, you can sit back in the bar with a coffee or cocktail, before tucking into an evening meal of regional and international dishes, made with local produce.
There’s also a beautiful wellness area, with an indoor pool, herbal sauna and Turkish steam bath. And if you’ve got the family in tow, your little ones will love the playroom.
Getting Here
When you arrive in Kaprun, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the door of the Rudolfshof Hotel. Instead, you’ll be dropped off at a central location in resort. From here, a smaller vehicle will pick you up and drive you the rest of the way through the pretty streets to your hotel.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
