Self-cater on your Serre Chevalier ski trip at the Residence L’Adret – a no-frills pick in the Chantemerle part of the resort. Speaking of location, you’ve got the main Saint Chaffrey gondola, nursery slopes and a supermarket all within a few minutes’ walk. And if you’re eager for après, it’s handy for bars in the resort centre too.
Inside the traditional building, you’ll find simple, modern apartments. Each one comes with a compact kitchenette, where you can whip up speedy suppers. And if you go for a 2-bedroom apartment, you’ll get a separate living area with a sofa – spot on for stretching out post ski. Things are low-key looks-wise, so expect plain white walls and functional furniture.
As for extras, there’s a heated outdoor pool, which is perfectly placed to catch the evening sun. Or for something even more relaxing, how about a spell in the sauna?
