Overview: apartment description: Pinnacle Hotel Whistler description

Find your home away from home at the brilliant Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler Village. Sink into the big comfortable beds, or soothe your muscles in your own private in-room Jacuzzi©- it’s all for the taking here.

The Pinnacle is an unpretentious mountain-boutique property just minutes from the multitude of shops, restaurants and lively nightlife of Canada’s most famous ski resort, allowing you easy access to all of the action, but far enough away that you can enjoy an uninterrupted sleep.

The one-of-a-kind studios here are spacious and comfortable. All feature a full kitchen for fussy foodies and budget-minded chefs, or, if you're not the cooking type, can simply be used as somewhere to store your snacks and wine. They also come with a cosy gas log fireplace, which is an ideal added bonus on chilly British Columbian nights. What makes the studios unique though, is the inclusion of your very own in-room Jacuzzi©, that’s been carefully positioned so you can get the best of both worlds – relaxing hot waters and the ability to socialise (or just to catch up on a bit of television).

As well as a heated outdoor pool, the hotel boasts two impressive and well-loved on-site restaurants. Since its opening in 1996, Quattro, a pretty Venetian eatery, has won over patrons with its contemporary Italian cuisine and extensive wine list. Head over the hall, and the border, to Alta Bistro – a French-inspired table d’hote style restaurant – for a blend of traditional and modern dishes in a relaxed setting.

Established in 1966 the Canadian ski resort Whistler lies at 675 metres altitude in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Its pedestrianised streets, size and attractive architecture, the village at the base of the mountain perfectly match North America's largest ski area. Its diversity, buzzing vibe and class can be immediately sensed upon setting foot in the area. The myriad of bars, shops and restaurants open up the door of possibilities for the non-skier, whether it's perusing the vast range clothing st...
There is literally no best way to describe a ski area that spans two mountains and covers more than a colossal 8,000 acres. If you think you can’t find the right terrain for you here, you’re just too picky. Setting out on skis in this resort is an absolute dream; the ski school is fantastic, catering to the customer’s every need. The Magic Chair on Blackcomb is perfect for your first venture up the mountain after the carpet, or for the more confident novices, hit up the cruisy runs of Whiskey Jack and then...
Once again, Whistler has a huge choice of alternatives and extras to the skiing experience. The Meadow Park Sports Centre has a six-lane pool, leisure pool, sauna, steam room, indoor ice rink, squash courts and a fitness centre. Other Whistler activities include an outdoor skating rink at Whistler Olympic Plaza, snowshoeing trails and Whistler Skate Park. Whistler has hair and beauty salons, a museum, public library, laundry and dry cleaning services, cinema, fitness centres, massage and spa facilities. Ba...

It’s located a short walk from the shops and supermarkets & close to the main bar area. I would have given the holiday overall 5/5, except whistler and everything on the mountain has more than doubled in price! has more than doubled in price, so it’s 3/5 due to it now being run by Vail resorts.
