· 2 minutes' walk to the resort centre · 1 minute's walk to the nearest ski lift · 5 minutes' walk to the ski school meeting point
Pension Enzian is a great little guesthouse – simple, friendly and really welcoming. The owners are Niederau locals, so there’s always someone on hand to ask if you want to know the best lunch spots or where to head after fresh snow.
The location is another selling point, Step outside and it’s a matter of metres to the nearest lift and a short walk to the ski school meeting point. And if you fancy checking out the local bars, the village centre is a 2-minute stroll away.
After you’ve après-ed, it’s time to eat. Mealtimes here are all about classic Austrian dishes, so you can look forward to plenty of soups, stews and flaky pastry puds – just what you need to re-fuel at the end of a ski day.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are bright and simply furnished with chunky pine furniture. And each one has a balcony, where you can look out over the snowy scenery.
