Panorama last minute
If you are looking to travel in the next couple of weeks, book a last minute holiday with us and you’ll be out on the mountain in the blink of an eye.
Due to its geography, Panorama is blessed with frequent falls of quality, low-density powder. 50 million gallons of water are used for snowmaking on 40% of the runs, so the conditions here are usually consistent through the season, with north facing slopes meaning good snow retention in the Spring. To find out what the conditions are currently like, take a look at our Snow Report and Snow Forecast pages. If you want to see what the conditions have been like in the past, check out our Snow History, which has month-by-month breakdowns.
Panorama Mountain Village is an intimate, non-pretentious place where you can really escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world and feel right at home. The resort is particularly famous for its huge 1258 ft hot spring pool. With its slope side location, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Rockies and Mount Nelson while you truly wind-down and relax.
Panorama is one of the lesser well-known resorts, so a big bonus of choosing it for a last minute getaway is the strong likelihood of having the slopes all to yourself. There are 120 runs here, and true to the all-inclusive atmosphere of the resort, there’s skiing for all abilities and tastes.
This is a well equipped, purpose-built resort, so you should have everything you need for your stay. The General Store has all you need for the week in terms of food, drink and gifts and if you need any equipment, the Final Gate is well-stocked with all the major brands. There’s a good choice of restaurants and bars, such as Grey’s (great for gourmet food and special occasions), the Wildfire Rustic Grill (one of our favourites for families) and the T-bar (amazing for an après beer).
