Excellent apartments, we were given 2 appartments that sleep 4 for 5 of us so we had plenty of space. Very basic as you would expect for the price. Appartments are right in the middle o the town so perfect for skiing, shops nightlife etc.. + more

Getting to the beginner slopes from Les Olympiades apartments is a bit of a trek unless you can ski – we were beginners and it took 45 minutes – too much of a chore for us. At the summit of the largest ski area in the world and bordering the Vanoise National Park, this is a spectacular place to ski and board. Getting to the beginner slopes from Les Olympiades apartments is a bit of a trek unless you can ski – we were beginners and it took 45 minutes – too much of a chore for us. We didn’t love skiing enough to ski for the whole week and there wasn’t much to do in the apartments so we didn’t stay for the whole week – the rep was friendly though and very helpful with sorting out our early departure. I didn’t like the apartments and there were a few things we weren’t expecting when we got there – there was supposed to be a double bed in the lounge and a bunk bed in the 2nd room (which was actually more like a cupboard!) but the double bed was more like pull out bunk beds and even though we were 2 people in a 4 person apartment there wasn’t much room. In terms of the self catering, it was easy enough to get food from the supermarket and all the restaurants around the accommodation were good – we particularly enjoyed a place that did Chinese / Indonesian / Swiss food which was a nice change from the usual ski resort food.
