Overview: chalet description: No. 3 Aspen House description

* Access to Spa with Sauna & Hammam *
No.3 Aspen House accommodates six guests in three en-suite bedrooms. This suite is situated on the second floor of the house. The open plan living / dining area with cutting-edge dancing fire provides ample space for family or friends to relax after a day on the mountain. Your dedicated chalet host will prepare breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course dinner on 6 evenings.

Each of the en-suite bedrooms can be presented as either a twin or a double. Turn left for the nursery slopes, just a two-minute walk away. Turn right for the bars, restaurants and shops of Val d'Isère on your very doorstep. Aspen House has a spa on the ground floor with hammam, sauna and a rather grand tiled jacuzzi, more Turkish bath than hot tub.

Our home in Val d'Isere, Aspen House, is in the older part of town and right next to the church, minutes from the High Street, quieter and more exclusive and now only 150 metres from the piste (all flat). It's more exclusive (we hate the word boutique!) but has only eight super-cool suites with a small funky spa. We've blinged it up: an elegant reception and concierge, fancy fires, cool décor, hung TVs on all the bedroom walls and added bunk beds into family suites. In short, we've brought our resort HQ bang up to date.

Whilst the building is brand new, each of the apartments are sumptuously designed creating a timeless aura with classic furnishings and a rich decor.

For guests staying at Aspen House we recommend the ski hire service from Mattis Sport. Their shop is located just a couple of minutes' walk from the chalet, so once you're settled in and have enjoyed a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake, your chalet host will take you to the shop to get fitted for your equipment. The Mattis team will then deliver your kit to the Aspen House ski room. At the end of the week your equipment will be collected from the ski room, so no need to carry it back to the shop. We are confident you'll get the very best of service from the Mattis team.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
