"Absolutely amazing"

Andrew, Newcastle
5/ out of 5
Hotel Neuhaus is absolutely superb! It’s nicely located and you could get from the door to the Penken lift in about 5 minutes (in walking boots, we left our ski boots etc in a ski shop by the lift). All of the staff apart from the barman were extremely friendly (one of the lads was ill and the barman wasn’t very helpful/polite, but the manager soon sorted that out). The spa and other facilities were all really nice. The food was absolutely immense, normally on a ski holiday you lose weight but we were finding that we were putting weight on! They did a big breakfast with omelettes etc and then in the evenings we had a six course meal, with soup, meat, main, pudding, coffee and other courses in between. They did a lot of traditional Austrian stuff with every night having something different, but the main thing was that there was just loads of it. It was all exquisitely cooked, done to perfection and presented amazingly. We gave our waiter a big tip at the end of the week, let’s put it that way!
