This hotel is located in the world-class resort town of Banff, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, set amongst the majestic mountains in the protected landscape of Banff National Park. The hotel is situated on Banff Avenue in the midst of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The local Banff Transit buses operate along Banff Avenue and Calgary International Airport is the closest airport, just 90 minutes away by car. This family-friendly fully non-smoking hotel is a small, quaint historical property built in 1908 and recently renovated. Each of the 133 rooms is richly decorated to reflect the charm of the brick exterior. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access, conference facilities and Internet access. Guests are 5 minutes away from new restaurant Farm + Fire. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services and the hotel provides free parking for guests. Furthermore, the Concierge can help guests to plan many of their outdoor activities. The rooms feature all the comforts of home and offer guests a choice of 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed along with a table and 2 chairs, and an en suite bathroom. All rooms offer a window view and are equipped with a 27-inch TV set with cable as well as digital clock radios, a telephone with voicemail, a coffee maker, an iron/ironing board and a hairdryer. Furthermore, an electronic in-room safe, individually adjustable climate control (heat and air conditioning) and bathroom amenities are provided in all accommodation as standard.
