This hotel is located in a small park in the centre of the winter sports town of Chamonix. The main train station is approximately 500 m away and with the public transport the transfer time to the airport takes approximately 90 minutes. The hotel offers impressive panoramic views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding glaciers. Built in 19th century, this mountain hotel is spread over 5 floors and comprises 42 rooms of which 8 are suites. The complete interior of the mountain hotel was renovated in 2001. As well as a lobby area with a hotel safe and lift, the hotel also offers its guest a currency exchange desk, bar, a conference room and a restaurant. There are also laundry and room services on offer as well as garage parking facilities for those arriving by car. The tastefully furnished comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, as well as a minibar and a hire safe. Each room also comes with a balcony. The hotel grounds include a swimming pool and relaxation options include a sauna area. Guests also have the opportunity to play tennis on the tennis court. A breakfast buffet is provided every morning. Lunch and dinner may be taken à la carte; the evening meal may alternatively be chosen from a set menu.
