Location: where is Mon Izba

Mon Izba is located on the mountainside in the Sonalon area of Verbier. Whilst remaining close to the glamourous restaurants, bars and shopping in the centre of Verbier, this property claims an elevated position, gazing across the stunning mountains and down upon the village.

Verbier village centre and all of its amenities are merely a five-minute drive from the property. The main Médran lift station is a seven-minute drive from where you access the ski pistes, or the new high speed chair lift at Carrefour is a five minute drive.

Suspended on the edge of the Savoleyres side of the mountain, this fairy-tale hideaway occupies one of Verbier’s most sought after addresses.

This stunning chalet is a sensational blend of the traditional local architecture and extravagant design creating an opulent setting for guests to relax and socialise in, from the comfort of their own home. Spread over five floors, the expansive chalet sleeps up to 12 people in five bedrooms.

Whilst the chalet gazes over the imposing mountains in the distance and village below, the interior is a haven of serenity and calmness. Mon Izba occupies one of Verbier’s most sought after addresses.
This stunning chalet is a sensational blend of the traditional local architecture and extravagant design with alpine style wood and timber throughout. Sensitive lighting alongside luxurious fittings and plush furnishings create an opulent setting for guests to relax and socialise in. Spread over five floors, the expansive chalet is sleeps up to 12 people in five bedrooms. The floors are all linked by a stair case and a lift.
Upon arrival, you enter the chalet into the hallway with an impressive chandelier being the main feature. From this hallway you can access the expansive main living room and the beautiful open plan kitchen and dining room. The sitting room focuses around an authentic stone fireplace, with sumptuous sofas surrounding it.
Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors open out onto the large terrace where there is stylish outdoor seating, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of champagne whilst the sun sets over Verbier. During the day sunlight floods in, whilst in the evening the village is lit up creating a wonderful ambience and atmosphere. There is also flat screen TV in this room.
Beer barrel style stools prop up the bar which separates the alpine style kitchen and the grand dining room. The kitchen is complete with its very own rotisserie oven, whilst the dining room with a bespoke chandelier sitting over the table caters for a sophisticated evening.
The top floor of the chalet has been transformed into the master suite and office which has its own private staircase. The master suite has jaw-dropping views of Verbier and the Petit Combin mountain range which can be enjoyed from the private balcony. The bedroom has as fabulous open fireplace, dressing room, desk and en-suite bathroom with separate shower.
A staircase leads down the main entrance of the chalet, and halfway down there is a spacious office which is on a mezzanine overlooking the sitting room.
The lift from the main entrance to the chalet takes you down to the entertainment floor. You will find a large cinema room filled with vintage leather arm chairs and a large sumptuous sofas. The chalet is filled with the latest entertainment and technology systems. Also on this floor is the delightful wine cave with kitchen, waterfall feature and extensive wine collection.
The main sleeping floor has four further bedrooms. There are three double bedrooms and a beautiful children’s bunk room, all with access to a terrace. Two of the double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the remaining bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms.
The first floor is home to the deluxe spa. With one of the largest indoor private swimming pools in Verbier, it is simply spectacular. Floor to ceiling glass at one end of the pool sinks down below the terrace allowing you to breathe in the fresh mountain air whilst enjoying your morning swim. From the swimming pool you can access the terrace with outdoor hot tub; perfectly positioned to optimize the jaw dropping views of the mountains in the distance. There is an exotic hammam, with ice machine, sauna and shower room. A sumptuous massage room overlooks the pool with one way glass allowing you to take in the views whilst relaxing in complete privacy. Also on this floor is a kids TV room.

A highly qualified professional chef to prepare breakfast, after-ski snacks, and dinner. Our chefs will work with you or your staff to create the perfect menu for your stay, be it a seven course evening meal or something simple and healthy (food and wine charged separately).
Wine list provided by a renowned local cave.
A dedicated chauffeur and vehicle (Volkswagen Caravelle or similar) operating between the hours of 8.30am until 2am (excluding properties in the car free resort of Zermatt).
The chalet manager and host(s) are at hand to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a concierge service during your stay.
Daily cleaning is provided by our housekeepers.

Floor to ceiling glass sinks below the terrace for when guests want to feel the crisp mountain air. A massage room is seperated from the pool by one way glass allowing maximum privacy, whilst the sauna and hammam provide ultimate relaxation after a hard day on the slopes.

Work out in one of the finest settings in the world. The well equipped gym with all the latest equipment looks out over the outdoor hot tub across to the impressive mountains in the distance.

Mon Izba will cater to your every entertainment need. Unwind in the plush cinema room whilst watching the latest movie or for the kids there is a comfy TV room with Nintendo Wii. The elegant cave is cosy and intimate where you can enjoy a glass of the finest wine whilst perusing the extensive wine collection. An extensive entertainment system and all-round WiFi broadband will entertain you throughout your stay.

Parking

Parking is not a problem in Mon Izba. The property has many dedicated indoor car parking spaces for your vehicles, keeping them safe and secure during your holiday.
