The modern Miilu Northen Lights Cabins are situated on the shoreline of the Ylläsjärvi lake, with amazing views of the snowy landscape surrounding the Miilu Resort. These cabins offer modern conveniences and Finnish style with large windows, cosy sleeping areas and a well equipped kitchenette. Take the fuss out of dinner time and opt into the optional half-board - seasonal ingredients are used to create tasty meals in the Miilu Bar & Grill. When you return from a day of snowy safaris or arctic adventures, you can enjoy a cocktail in front of the fire.

Your gateway to the northern lights

Surrounded by the snowy forests, the Miilu Northen Lights Cabins are located on the shoreline of Lake Ylläsjärvi. Enjoy the peaceful Lappish landscape and admire the scenery from the comfort of your cabin, with large windows overlooking the lake and surrounding wooded area. Staying at this remote retreat you'll be in prime position to spot the northern lights. Lapland is one of the best places in the world to witness the auroa borealis and wintertime stays in these cabins provide the greatest opportunity to witness this natural phenomenon.

Wake up to the snowy scenery surrounding your cabin and enjoy the beautiful views from the comfort of your cabin. These brand-new semi-detachedcabins are furnished in a modern Finnish style with wood paneling and large windows overlooking the lake. Their quiet, secluded location makes for an excellent choice for your next arctic adventure. Each cabin has everything you need for a stay in Finnish Lapland, including a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area, a lounge with a television, and comfortable sleeping areas. And, after a day of activities in the great outdoors, warm up in your own private sauna.

Exploring Ylläs and beyond

During your stay you'll have the option to add on activities like downhill skiing at the nearby Ylläsjärvi ski resort or snow shoeing. Try out exciting excursions such as a reindeer safari, snowmobiles through the arctic tundra, husky sledding or a visit to the Snow Village to see the beautiful sculptures carved from ice and snow. Or, just simply enjoy the tranquil silence and nature surrounding the Miilu Resort.

Cabin A is around 62m² sleeping two to six people. Downstairs there are two sleeping alcoves - one with a single bed and one with a double bed, up on the mezzanine level there are three single beds. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, lounge area and one bathroom with WC.

Cabin B is around 62m² sleeping two to five people, with a double room and a mezzanine level with three single beds. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, lounge area and one bathroom with WC.

One linen set with towels is included per person, per week. End of stay cleaning is included.

The Miilu Northern Light Cabins are on a bed and breakfast or optional half board basis.

Each morning you can enjoy a varied breakfast buffet taken at the Miilu Bar & Grill, this is around a 100 metre walk from the cabins.

Take the fuss out of choosing what's for dinner and opt into optional half board where you can enjoy a three-course meal made with seasonal ingredients. The restaurant has lovely views of the frozen lake, so you can admire the Lappish landscape while dining.
